Dr. John Pacey is a Canadian vascular and general surgeon, medical inventor, and author whose career has been defined by the conviction that a single well-executed idea can change how medicine is practised worldwide.

He is best known as the inventor of the GlideScope® video laryngoscope — the world’s first digital video laryngoscope — a device now used as a global standard in airway management, from hospital operating rooms to military field hospitals, Air Force One, and conflict zones across multiple continents.
